๐ Courses
Learn to make games the way games learned to exist โ one machine at a time, starting in 1947, assuming you know absolutely nothing.
How courses work
Every course is one museum machine, taught in three movements: the history (what it was, why it mattered), the autopsy (our rebuild opened up, its logic explained line by line), and the build โ you make your own game using what that machine taught, step by step.
A course is two windows side by side: the lesson in its own little window, and a full-size Studio of its own (the lesson's ๐ฎ button opens it) โ your normal Studio draft is never touched. The steps are live-verified: the lesson watches the real workspace and ticks each step the moment you've actually done it. Finish every step and the course is complete โ completing a course unlocks the next, in museum order, so by the end of the ladder you've rebuilt the history of game design with your own hands.
Courses are the leveling game. Every player starts at level 1, and every finished course is +1 level โ your level rides beside your username everywhere on the site, and the only way to raise it is to build. No shortcuts, no purchases: level 10 means ten machines, by hand.
Progress saves to your account, so log in before you start. (Logged out, the course still runs โ it just can't remember you finished.) Each course ends with a machine you can publish to the Games page, high-score table included.
