What an account is

A RedlineStudio account is a username and a password — nothing else required. No real name, no phone number, no recovery questions. Pick a username that isn't your real name and the site has no idea who you are, which is exactly how we like it. Passwords are handled by Google's Firebase Authentication and are never stored in our own database.

Email is optional (13+ only). You can link an email in ⚙ Account; it's held by Firebase Authentication (not our public database), used only for verification and password recovery, and never shown to other players, used for mailing lists, or shared. No email = no recovery, by design.

Age. To unlock rated content you declare a birth date once — and only the resulting age bracket (under 13 / 13+ / 16+ / 18+) is stored. The date itself is never saved anywhere.

What the site stores

Things you make on the site are stored in our database (Google Firebase) and most of them are public by design — that's what a game platform is: your username, the games and models you publish, your profile page, comments, forum posts, likes and votes, high scores, machine chat, and your coin balance (play money — it can't be bought and isn't worth anything).

Your browser also keeps a few conveniences on your own device (never sent to us): screen size, touch-control layouts, and collapsed Studio panels.

Advertising

RedlineStudio may show ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar tools to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites; in regions that require it, you'll be asked for consent first. You can control ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Ads only ever appear at the bottom of pages — never over a game screen.

What we don't do

No analytics trackers of our own, no selling of data (there's nothing to sell — see above), no email lists (a linked email is for verification and recovery only), and nothing to buy: coins are free play money, so the site never asks for payment details.

Removing your stuff — including all of it

You can delete your own games, models, comments, and posts anytime — and you can delete your entire account yourself in ⚙ Account: login, coins, games, models and profile are erased immediately and permanently. Forum posts and comments remain, attributed to a name that no longer exists. This is a general-audience site — keep names, games, and comments reasonable, and don't put personal information in public content.

Children

Accounts require no personal information at all, which is how a site can be open to everyone. Players who declare an under-13 bracket additionally cannot link an email — their accounts stay contact-free — and 16+/18+ content and the Casino are locked away from them. Parents: an account's entire footprint is its public creations, and the delete button in ⚙ Account removes all of it.
