Terms of Service
Effective October 8, 2026 (first version September 25, 2026) · Please read these. Using RedlineStudio means you agree to them.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Redline Digital LLC, a Michigan limited liability company formed September 28, 2026 ("Redline Digital", "we", "us"), which operates RedlineStudio at redlinestudio.dev, including the Studio, the Page Studio, the Market, the Casino, the arcade floor, multiplayer, the Forums, and downloadable exports (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Eligibility, age brackets and content ratings
The Service is open to all ages. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use. We have no way to check that permission — a clause is not a consent process — so the Service is built to assume children are present: see the child safeguards in the Privacy Policy, section 7. A parent or guardian can review, restrict or delete a child's account at any time through the contact form.
Age brackets. In ⚙ Account you may declare your birth date once. Only the resulting age bracket is stored (under 13, 13+, 16+, 18+), privately — and for under-13 declarations, the month the account turns 13, so the bracket upgrades itself on time. It cannot otherwise be changed. You must declare your age truthfully. False declarations violate these Terms and may lead to account removal. "18+" means a self-declared 18+ birth date plus a verified email; we do not verify identity.
Communication features. Posting comments, starting or replying to forum threads, and typing your own messages in machine chat require a declared 13+ bracket (an under-13 bracket reaches it automatically at 13). Under-13 and undeclared accounts can play, publish, like, and chat at machines using a fixed list of quick-chat phrases.
Ratings. Every game carries one of four ratings, named on the site as E · 13+ · 16+ · 18+:
- E (Everyone) and 13+ (Teen): playable by anyone except players whose declared bracket is too young;
- 16+ (Mature): requires a declared 16+ bracket;
- 18+ (Adult): requires a declared 18+ bracket and a verified email. The Casino is always rated 18+.
Ratings are set by each game's creator and may be changed by moderators. They are not a guarantee that a game is suitable for any particular person. What each rating requires is spelled out on the Content Ratings page, which every creator confirms reading before their first publish.
3. Your account
- An account is a unique username (1–10 characters, case-sensitive) and a password. Don't use your real name, anyone else's name, or a name that impersonates another player, a moderator, Redline Digital, or any real person or brand.
- You are responsible for your password and for everything done with your account. Choose a strong password. Without a linked, verified email there is no way to recover a lost password, and we cannot restore access to such an account.
- Players 13 and older may link an email for login, verification and password recovery.
- One person may hold more than one account, but you may not use extra accounts to evade a moderation action, manipulate likes, votes, skip votes or scores, or move coins between your own accounts in ways that abuse the economy.
- Don't share, sell, trade or transfer accounts.
- You may delete your account at any time in ⚙ Account. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is erased and what remains.
4. Your content
"User Content" means anything you create or submit on the Service: games, scripts (block or RedScript), models, arcade screens, profile pages, comments, forum posts, machine chat, reports, and the game data you send during multiplayer and live watching.
- You own your User Content. We claim no ownership of it.
- License to us. By submitting User Content you give Redline Digital a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, perform, run, transmit and distribute it, and to adapt it only as needed for technical operation (for example, formatting, compiling or snapshotting), for the purpose of operating, providing and promoting the Service. The license for a game or model ends when you delete it, except for copies already made under the next paragraph and reasonable backup periods.
- License to other players. Publishing a game lets other players play, watch, like, comment on and download it for personal use through the Service's features. Listing a model on the Market lets buyers insert, edit and use their copy in their own games on the Service. Copies bought by others stay in their inventories even if you later delete your original.
- Your promises. You have all the rights needed to publish your User Content. It doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights, and it follows these Terms. Recreations of historical games are allowed only where your implementation, art and text are your own, and must not use protected names, logos or characters without permission.
- Honest ratings. You must rate your games accurately. Violence, gambling themes, strong language, or mature themes require the matching rating. Mislabeling adult content as E or 13+ is a serious violation, not a prank.
- We don't review content before it's published and aren't responsible for User Content, but we may remove or restrict any of it (section 8).
5. Conduct rules
At any rating, anywhere on the Service (including chat, comments, forums, usernames, profile pages and game content), you may not:
- post, create or link content that sexualizes minors, or engage in any sexual conduct toward a minor. We report such content to the appropriate authorities;
- harass, threaten, bully or incite violence against anyone, or post hate speech targeting people based on protected characteristics;
- post anyone's personal information (including your own, if you're a child), or ask other players for theirs;
- try to arrange to meet other players offline, or move a minor to off-platform contact;
- impersonate another person, player, moderator or Redline Digital;
- run scams or phishing, or build games that trick players into revealing passwords or personal information or that imitate real login pages;
- use scripts or games to attack the Service or other players' browsers, or to crash or overload the Service or other devices;
- access, or try to access, accounts or data that aren't yours; probe, bypass or exploit the database security rules; or read or write the Service's databases other than through the site's intended features;
- cheat: falsify high scores, exploit bugs to gain coins, manipulate Casino outcomes, or automate play, likes, votes or daily claims. Found an exploit? Report it privately to the contact email in section 13 instead of using it;
- spam, flood chat, or abuse the report, "wrap it up" or skip-vote features;
- use the Service for anything illegal.
6. Coins, the Market and the Casino
- ◎ Coins are virtual play tokens. New accounts receive 100 and may claim 100 more once per day. Coins cannot be bought with real money. They cannot be cashed out, redeemed, or exchanged for money or anything of value. Coins are not your property. They are a limited, revocable license to use a feature of the Service.
- No real-money trading. Don't buy, sell or trade coins, models or accounts for real money or anything of value, on or off the Service. Accounts involved will be removed.
- The Market: coin purchases of models are final. We don't guarantee what a listed model does.
- The Casino is for players with a declared 18+ bracket and a verified email. Machines are built by players, but odds are set by the platform: a fixed, published return-to-player of 92%. Machine owners fund payout pools with their own coins and may collect them. The facts: coins cannot be bought with money, cannot be cashed out or exchanged for money or anything of value, on or off the Service, and machines may not claim or imply otherwise. The Casino is built as entertainment on those facts. Laws on simulated-gambling features vary by place; if such features aren't lawful where you live, or you have concerns about gambling, don't use the Casino.
- We may adjust, reset, or remove coin balances, pools or items to fix errors, reverse cheating, or change the Service's economy. Coins lost that way, or when an account is deleted or removed, aren't refunded or compensated.
7. The arcade floor, live watching and multiplayer
- Each game is a machine with a fixed number of seats. One account may be at one machine at a time. When all seats are full, players wait in a line that only lasts while their page stays open.
- While you are the main player at a machine, your game screen is shown live to anyone watching it, together with your username — and watchers can be any age, including minors, so what you show and say at a machine must fit your game's rating. Machine chat is public.
- Players who have waited past a game's patience time may ask the longest-seated player to wrap up, and a unanimous vote of eligible waiters can skip that player. Don't abuse these features.
- Typed machine chat requires a declared 13+ bracket (section 2); everyone else uses quick-chat phrases.
- Online play depends on network conditions and other players. We don't guarantee connections, seats, synchronization, or results.
8. Moderation and enforcement
Moderators, currently the operator of the Service, may, at our discretion and with or without notice, re-rate or unlist games; remove games, models, comments, posts or scores; resolve reports; remove coins or items; and suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or put players or the Service at risk. Use ⚑ Report to flag problems. We aren't obligated to monitor the Service, and we may preserve and disclose information where the law requires it or to protect players' safety.
To appeal a moderation decision, use the contact form or email the address in section 13, with your username and what happened. We aim to answer appeals within 14 days. Moderation is currently one person, so that's an honest aim, not a guarantee — but every appeal gets read.
9. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respect intellectual property and respond to notices of alleged infringement following the process of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). To report infringing content, send our copyright agent a written notice (by email below, or through the contact form) that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the location of the infringing material on the Service (its page URL);
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Copyright agent: Redline Digital LLC, Attn: Copyright Agent · RedlineDigitalGames@proton.me
Counter-notices. If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, outside the U.S., any district where Redline Digital may be found) and to accept service from the person who filed the notice. We may restore the material 10–14 business days after forwarding it unless the complainant tells us they've filed a lawsuit.
Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated in appropriate circumstances. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices may create legal liability.
10. Our Service, downloads and other games
- The RedlineStudio software, site design, engine, RedScript, Studio, logos and the reference examples are owned by Redline Digital and protected by law. These Terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the Service as intended.
- Downloads. Games downloaded as standalone HTML files and the offline Studio run on your own device, as-is, for personal use. A downloaded game remains its creator's User Content; don't redistribute other players' games without their permission.
- Player-made games run scripts in your browser. The engine limits what a script can do, but you play them at your own judgment.
- Imported .rlgame files are treated as scene data only, never as code, but import only files you trust.
- Redline Digital's other titles (such as those on the More Games page) and third-party websites linked from the Service are governed by their own terms.
- We may change, add, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Existing games keep their engine version where technically possible, but we don't guarantee it.
11. Disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that User Content, coins, scores or saved work will be preserved.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REDLINE DIGITAL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, CONTENT, COINS OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain of these limits, so they apply to you only as far as the law allows. If you are a minor, nothing in this section or the next takes away protections the law of your home gives you that you cannot waive.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Redline Digital from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content or your violation of these Terms or of anyone's rights.
12. Governing law, changes and general terms
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. Nothing here removes consumer protections you can't waive under the law of where you live.
- We may update these Terms. We'll change the effective date at the top, and announce material changes on the Forums before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them as part of a transfer of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- Sections 4 (licenses already granted), 6 (no value of coins), 9, 11 and 12 survive account deletion or termination.
